RETURNS :
Once your order has arrived, if a Feline Fido product fails to meet your expectations, you may return or exchange said item within 14 days of receipt. Refunds will be issued less any S&H charges (S&H is not refundable). Return shipping is the responsibility of the consumer. Any item returned/exchanged must be in brand new/unused condition. Returns will not be accepted on used/worn merchandise.
You must contact us for a return authorization prior to shipping items for return/exchange. Items must be received within the 14 day return policy window. Refund will not be issued for any products returned without a return authorization or after 14 days from initial receipt.
While we do try to choose lasting designs, these are decorative & designer products crafted with ribbon trim. We do not recommend that decorative collars be purchased for pets that:
a) object to wearing a collar, or have never worn a collar before;
b) scratch, bite or chew on their collars;
c) have skin allergies;
or
d) engage in excessive rough play that could cause damage to the collar
We do NOT warrant products from fading, scratching or fraying.
TIP: For puppies & kittens, we suggest purchasing an inexpensive plain-jane collar from a local pet shop to see how your pet adjusts to wearing his/her first collar. Some kitties may ojbect to the jingle bell on their collar, or mistake it for a play toy, if this happens, please remove the bell from the split ring attachment.
If you do have a pet that is hard on collars and you still can't resist the urge to dress your pet to impress, we recommend that you reserve your designer pet products for special occasions.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE:
Harnesses (each harness is made to order based on your pet's indvidual measurements), any item that personalized/engraved, modified (including hardware upgrades) or custom sized. Sale or clearance priced products will be considered final sale.
SIZE EXCHANGE:
As a courtesy, we will allow one complimentary size exchange on dog or cat collars. Dog collars are available in multiple widths ranging between 3/8" - 1 1/2" wide. Please be sure you order an appropriate width for your dog. It is important to factor in both the width AND the length of the collar when ordering. Some widths maybe too bulky for small dogs, please order appropriately.
Designs will not be substituted during the exchange process, unless the original design is no longer in stock.
COLLAR HARDWARE UPGRADES :
All collars come standard with a nylon (a.k.a. black plastic) buckle. If you choose to upgrade your dog collar to include a metal buckle (with or without engraving) the collar will become a custom item and will not be eligible or return/exchange. Please be very certain you are ordering the correct size, should you choose to upgrade your collar hardware.
PET TAGS:
All pet tag sales are final sale. The only exception to this policy would be if we make an engraving error. If this happens, please contact us immediately upon receipt and we will quickly rectify the mistake.
Pet tags can not be warranted from scratching or wear & tear. One pet may scratch there tag in a weeks time, while another may have the same tag for looking sniny and brand new after 6 months-1 year. We have no control over scratches or wear of pet id tags.
Designer pet tags should be attached to your pet's collar where it does not rub or wear against other tags or charms. We suggest treating designer pet tags as "jewelry" for your pet. If you find that your pet is particularly hard on his/her pet tags (puppies/kittens, extremely active pets, multi-dog households, etc.), you may wish to purchase an inexpensive aluminum tag for daily wear & reserve designer tags for special occassions.
DISCLAIMER: It is the consumers responsibility to ensure that any Feline Fido item is suitable for their individual pet/situation and assumes all responsibility and liability by purchasing these products. Pet items will wear differently for each individual animal. Inspect collars and other items regularly to ensure seams are stitched tightly and buckles, webbing, etc. are suitable for continued use.
Never leave a collar on any crated or caged animal. Our cat collars are crafted with safety break-away buckles, which means that the manufacturer designs the buckles to pull apart under pressure; therefore they are not to be used with a leash.
