Accepted Methods of Payment: Methods of payment accepted are: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and debit cards displaying a VISA or MasterCard logo on the front of the card. For your convenience, we also accept PayPal.
Phone Orders: If you prefer to place your order via the telephone, please call us at 888-222-6850. Telephones are answered Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm EST. We are often busy crafting customer orders and may miss your call. Please be assured that we check voicemail several times a day and will return your call in a timely manner.
Shipping & Handling
Shipping charges are based on weight and destination. S&H fees will be calculated during check out. All orders are shipped by USPS wiith delivery confirmation or FedEX. Once delivery has been confirmed by the courier, we will not accept responsibility for lost/missing packages delivered to the specified shipping address.
International orders: Shipped via USPS. Feline Fido will retain postal shipping receipt with customs ID# as proof of shipment. International customers assume all risks involved with ordering, including customs taxes/fees(if applicable) and the possibility of lost or missing packages traveling overseas.
Rush Orders: At times we may be able to accommodate rush orders. Please contact us at 888-222-6850 if you need your order to be rushed and we do our best to accommodate your request. Rush orders include expedited shipping, rush in-house processing which may include having to physically craft an order swiftly to meet your deadline. Please be aware that rush orders will incur an additional fee. There are no returns on rush orders.
Return/Exchange Policy
If a Feline Fido product fails to meet your expectations, you may return it for a merchandise exchange or refund (less shipping & handling) within 14 days of receipt. Please contact us for a return authorization prior to sending back any items for return/exchange. Returned items must be received within 14 days from date of delivery (delivery dates are confirmed). Return/exchange items must be in the original/unused condition. Returns will not be accepted for used/worn merchandise. Harnesses are not eligible for return or exchange. Each harness is made to order and often to specifications listed in your order instructions, therefore making them a custom item. Clearance/sale items are final sale and may not be returned.
Special/Custom ordered items (including engraved items): Custom ordered items and any item that is personalized, engraved or custom sized is final sale. ALL harnesses are considered custom orders, as we take both neck/girth measurements into consideration and craft them especially for your pet. No returns accepted for any harness item.
While we do try to choose lasting designs, we can not warrant products from fraying or fading. These are decorative products and each collar/leash/harness will wear differently for each animal (please see "Caring for your Feline Fido collar, harness and leash" below for some tips).
We do our best to handle all orders with care and accuracy, but we are human...If we make a mistake on your order, we will quickly rectify our error.You must notify us immediately upon receipt if there is any problem with your order. If we are not notified of a mistake with an order within 14 days of receipt, the order process will be considered complete and no exchange/return will be accepted.
Sizing
All collars, harnesses and pet apparel are sized in inches. There is no sizing standard throughout the pet industry, all manufacturers vary in their sizing. For this reason, it is imperative that you measure your pet carefully and order accordingly for each product. Unfortunately, we are unable to guess your pet's size based on breed/weight. All pets come in many different shapes and sizes, even those of the same breed. If you need guidance or have questions as to how to properly measure your pet, feel free to call or email us.
Most designer pet collars are made to order, for this reason many designers do not offer exchanges for incorrect sizing. However, as a courtesy to our customers, we will allow one complimentary size exchange on standard collar items (provided they are not customized with hardware upgrades or any personalization). Return S&H costs are the responsibility of the consumer (this includes the cost to ship the original item back to us & cost to ship the replacement item to you). Designs will not be substituted during the exchange process.
Caring for your Feline Fido product
Designer collars, harnesses and leashes are fun and fashionable. While they are functional, you still may wish to consider swapping collars if you plan to spend the afternoon with Fido at the dog park. Pink polka dots and mud wrestling usually do not go hand and hand. However, even with regular use your new designer duds may get a little dirty. Most Feline Fido products can be handwashed in a mild detergent. Do not tumble dry, simply lay flat to dry. Be sure to check all collars, harnesses, leashes and other pet wear on a regular basis. Remember these products are made with decorative trims, over time designs may fade or woven trims may start to pull or fray.
While we do try to choose lasting designs, we can not warrant products from fraying or fading. These are decorative products and each collar/leash/harness will wear differently for each animal. If your pet is not accustomed to wearing a collar/harness (including some puppies/kittens), if your pet is an excessive scratcher, if your pet tends to chew/bite on their collar/leash, etc. it is NOT recommended that you purchase a decorative collar. If you just can't pass up the opportunity to dress your pet in style, we recommend that you reserve your designer duds for special occasions.
A quick tip: If your nylon webbing edges begin to fray over time or due to scratching or rough play, you can trim off the frayed pieces and then carefully run the edges of the collar over an open flame to melt fly-aways back into place. If your pet is known to be an excessive scratcher, woven trims & decorated grosgrain may not be the best choice for your collars.
Pet Id tags are an important and necessary addition to any pet collar. They are the most reliable way to ensure safe return of your pet in the event he/she gets lost. Because your pet should wear an id tag at all times, any type of tag will show signs of wear. Depending on your pets habits, activity level and living situation, this will vary for every animal. We can not warrant pet tags from wear & tear. If you order a designer pet tag, we suggest attaching the tag with it's own individual split ring attachment and not to affix it where it will have mutiple other tags or pieces of metal rubbing against it on a regular basis. Some people tend to reserver their designer tags for special occasions and use an aluminum tag for everyday use. If you find that your pet's tag is easily worn, this may be a viable option.
Safety Information
Craftsmanship: Pet safety is always on our mind. We love our pets more than anything in this world and would not offer products we didn't feel were of the highest quality. To be sure of this we craft all of our collars, leads and harnesses using commercial grade nylon webbing (stronger than polypro webbing), steel welded d-rings, cast metal slides, high quality nylon side release buckles (a.k.a. black plastic buckle), metal side release buckles and nickel plated snaphooks. We also sew our products on commercial and/or industrial sewing machines with strong bonded threads.
All pet products will wear over time/use and must be checked frequently for signs of wear. Please be responsible and inspect your pet's collar, harness and leash regularly. Adjust collars to fit properly and safely for your pet. Be sure to take great care to note if seams, stitching or hardware are showing any signs of wear; use of such items should be discontinued.
We take great care to make the best products possible. However, it is the consumers responsibility to determine if a Feline Fido product is suitable for their individual pet. The consumer is responsible for determining the suitability of any Feline Fido product for their individual pet/situation and assumes all responsibility and liability by purchasing these products.
Safety: We do not EVER recommend our products be used on a “tie out”, nor do we recommend that any pet be left outside on a tie-out or leash of any kind, without supervision. Never leave a collar on any crated animal. Our cat collars are crafted with safety break-away buckles, which means that the manufacturer designs the buckles to pull apart under pressure; therefore they are not acceptable for use with a leash.
DISCLAIMER: It is the consumers responsibility to ensure that any Feline Fido item is suitable for their individual pet. Pet items will wear differently for each individual animal. Inspect collars and other items regularly to ensure seams are stitched tightly and buckles, webbing, etc. are suitable for continued use.
