Is a Halloween Cat Collar on your treat list this year?

Feline Fido has a great selection of halloween pet collars.

Designer cat collars can be dressy, preppy, elegant, classic, personalized or just plain fun. Here at Feline Fido we consider our pets to be part of the family, which means they get to participate in the Halloween fun, too. If you are looking for a spooky dog or cat collar, we've got just what you need!

We have 'Trick or Treat', Boo!, Spooky, Pumpkins, Jack-o-lanterns, Witches' Hats, Scary Stripes, Ghoulish Dots, Scary Mary Plaid and more. If you don't want to be too scary and you just want your cat to look fun, we have 'Happy Halloween' Collars as well. Click HERE for our full selection of holiday dog and cat collars!

Here's a little preview of our spooktacular halloween pet wear...

Here are a few safety tips to make this Halloween a success for you and your pets:

  • Don't leave your pet out in the yard on Halloween: There are plenty of stories of horrible pranksters who have teased, injured, stolen pets on this night. Be particularly careful with your black kitty, you may want to keep him/her inside.
  • Trick-or-treat candy can be dangerous for pets: Chocolate is poisonous to many pets, including dogs and cats. Those tiny wrappers made of tin foil or cellophane be hazardous if swallowed.
  • Be careful of pets around a lit pumpkin: Many pets have knocked over carved pumpkins, a dog can eaisly do so just with his/her tail - you don't want to end up with a fire, so please put them out of reach! Curious kittens also run the risk of getting burned.
  • Don't dress the dog in costume unless you know he loves it, this can be stressful. A great way to allow your dog or cat to participate in the celebration is to swap out his/her regular Feline Fido designer collar with a halloween designer collar instead.
  • If you have a dog who is patient enough to let you dress him up, please make sure the costume isn't constricting, annoying or unsafe. Be careful not to obstruct vision, even socialized & sweet dogs can get snappy when they can't see what's going on around them.
  • All but the most social dogs should be kept in a separate room during trick-or-treat hours; strangers in strange costumes, making funny noises or screaming at your doors step can be scary for a dog.
  • Be careful your cat or dog doesn't dart out through the open door. An easy way to keep your focus on the fun, would be to put a baby gate across the doorframe of your front door. This way when the trick-or-treaters ring the bell, you can focus on filling those candy bags and checking out some nifty costumes without worrying about Fifi or Fido getting out!
  • Have a SpooktaculerTime!
